Collective Conversations

Collective Conversations: reflections

Five years in, we finally started the podcast. Reflections from episode one with Tiny Habits coach Mike Coulter: on behaviour design, on pausing to look back, and on what we learned.

Collective Conversations: reflections

Since founding The Future Collective five years ago, we’ve been asked, or told, to do a podcast many times. A few months ago when we celebrated our five-year anniversary, we decided it was finally time. Collective Conversations is an idea that’s been brewing below the surface for a long time, and we’re so excited that it’s finally here.

For episode 1, it was a no-brainer that Mike Coulter should be our first guest. He is now one of the few officially recognised Tiny Habits coaches in the UK and fully accredited and endorsed by Professor BJ Fogg PhD. And the only track-record CD in the entire world trained in both Behaviour Design and the Tiny Habits® Method.

We first met Mike back in 2020, and have been blessed to hear some of his wisdom in many inspiring conversations since.

We know that with such a future-forward approach in everything we do, it’s rare that we take a moment to pause and look back. We’re always looking forward, always asking ‘what’s next?’ But, this feels like the perfect time for us to take that moment of reflection.

Every conversation with Mike sparks a new idea for us, so with such a rich variety of things to discuss it was hard to pick just a few.

So, what were the main things we learned from our first episode?
