One of the very first decisions our co-founders made when they formed The Future Collective was to apply for B Corp certification to ensure we would be accountable for our actions.
Our conscious approach gives us licence to work with truly pioneering and enlightened brands who are united in their desire to bring about real and enduring change. Designing for good and for better.
DESIGN FOR BETTER FORUM
We’re becoming globally renowned for hosting and facilitating an annual Design for Better live event and forum. Drawing together a crowd of likeminded people to share our perspective.

Following on from the success of our Design for Better virtual event in March 2021, we hosted a live forum in Shoreditch during the London Design Festival in September 2022.
Drawing on our network of visionary experts, entrepreneurs and academics, we brought together a truly inspirational line-up of speakers including IKEA, Space10, H&M, Atelier100 and Aesop, alongside industry experts in societal and cultural trends and future thinking and entrepreneurship.

In partnership with London Design Festival we brought together the founders of some of the most visionary brands to describe their story about why they have joined the B Corp movement.
During a live forum, they each shared their individual stories about the challenges and opportunities they have faced by taking a new responsible direction.
Looking through the lens of the creative industry, we also examined the benefits to designers and agencies looking to be a force for change.

How can we inspire a generation of leaders in retailing to Design for Better?
Design for Better is a flagship report from The Future Collective; a guide to designing for better - not just better for the planet, but for people too - and all that co-exist together. It’s about being more sustainable, more ethical, inclusive, purposeful, meaningful and enduring.
Underpinning our mission and core beliefs, in this carefully curated report we explore what we mean by designing for better; understanding the radical shifts in consumer sentiment that are driving generational change, and unpacking the core themes and directions this will take.
Filled with actionable insights, thought-starters and ‘what if’ scenarios, this report features over 160 pages of ideas and inspiration clustered around 6 key themes, including examples of global benchmarking and best practice across a broad range of sectors from food to fashion, beauty to automotive and beyond. Brief
How can we inspire and educate a global community of over 16,000 suppliers and stakeholders to do business more sustainably and to innovate for positive change in the automotive industry?
Working in close collaboration with our clients’ Global Sustainability and Procurement team, we defined and developed their sustainability in the supply chain program.
Our shared vision was to build, activate and energise a network of experts within their supply chain by continuously learning and sharing ideas and inspiring each other to make a real difference.
Together, we created a digital interactive ‘Playbook’, designed to offer a sourcebook of tools, ideas and inspiration to operate business in a way that is better for people and for the planet.
This was supported by the creation of bespoke films that clearly articulated the ambition and intent and actively encouraged their suppliers to join the movement.
ESG Brand Proposition
We help our clients to frame, define and articulate the core purpose and vision of their ESG programme. Shaping the core pillars and crafting a manifesto that becomes a powerful catalyst for change.
Educational Tools
Our approach to ESG is centred on action, developing training toolkits, workbooks and educational playbooks that are designed to inspire and inform the next generation of thinkers, makers and innovative disrupters.
Humanised Storytelling
The human story is always the most impactful and emotive. We share real and authentic stories of endeavour and impact. Harnessing our strengths in filmmaking, photography, copywriting and graphic communications to reach a global audience.
Website / Digital Portals
With a view to creating a digital ‘home’ for their ESG initiatives, we design dedicated website/digital portals, devoted to describing the brand purpose and sustainable and responsible vision of the programme. Helping our clients to foster a sense of community and dialogue and share the story of their journey with clarity and transparency.
Impact Reports
Many of our clients are making a commitment to do better and have a desire to be held accountable for their actions, taking an impact-driven approach with authentic purpose at the heart of the business model. We create bespoke Impact Reports and brand literature designed to document, celebrate and make tangible their activism and intent.
Events, Forums & Summits
Positive change, at scale, is impossible to achieve alone or in silo. We regularly host and facilitate live events, forums, summits, hackathons and workshops.
