CONSUMER INSIGHTS

A strong brand is created through insightful strategy, rooted in consumer research and behavioural insights. We connect every part of our clients’ business, developing tailored strategies that genuinely resonate with their audiences.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach to design is people first. Understanding their unmet needs and desires is always where we begin, because it’s our belief that designing with empathy, care and inclusion is all.

We adopt a range of different quantitative and qualitative tools and techniques to uncover and understand peoples’ mindsets, motivations and behaviours. Helping our clients to identify the opportunities and develop brand strategies that are highly relevant and commercially sound.

PRIMARY CONSUMER RESEARCH

Understanding your audience is the key to creating a brand that resonates, excites and inspires.

  • Brief

How can we gain a deep understanding of the HydraFacial target end-consumer audience and uncover opportunities to own the strengths and amplify the truths of the HydraFacial brand?

Blending a mix of primary research methodologies, we conducted a series of focus groups, in-depth interviews and surveys across four key regions within EMEA, including UK, Germany, France and Spain. By recording over 1,100 minutes of conversations, across 3 time zones and interviewing people of all ages, ethnicities and gender, we built a rich and hugely insightful picture of their target consumer.

Busting many of the myths and assumptions within the sector, we uncovered how they shop for skincare, the factors and reference points that influence their decision. We also explored the perceptions and associations people have about the HydraFacial brand, identifying the potential barriers and areas of opportunity. Our research concluded with a strategic summary, filled with actionable insights and strategic direction.

Primary Consumer Research

Primary research offers incredibly useful insights to help shape your brand and focuses your communication strategy. We find qualitative research adds a very humanistic aspect to the data gathered and allows us a greater understanding of the motivations behind decisions that your consumers make.

Audience Insights & Profiling

We not only use demographics to gain insight into your consumers, but we delve deeper into lifestyles, attitudes, self-perceptions and interests. By identifying macro consumer trends and transitions we can seek out the fundamental truths about your consumers.

Customer Journey Mapping

We carefully map out the customer journey as a visual storyline, capturing every engagement a customer has with your service, brand, or product to ensure their experience is carefully aligned to their wants, expectations and buying behaviour. Helping us to understand and anticipate their needs and tailor a positive customer experience.
